If you're looking for some authentic Mexican food, including tacos, multitas, quesadillas, burritos, and other real Mexican street fare, look no further. This place is so authentic you have to order in Spanish because they don't speak English. Evidently, they set up in different locations on the nightly, so you have to follow them on social media to see where they're going to be at for that night. For this evening, we were in Glendale off of San Fernando Rd on the sidewalk by Super King. They weren't busy around 1030 p.m., but my friends said it was because it was still early. The smells, though, were amazing as they had the al pastor cooking in the traditional way on a vertical spite. Everything was set up in an orderly fashion. With the hand-made tortillas being smashed and cooked. Then, you order tacos from one individual and all the other types from another person. They ask you what you want in the tacos (everything of course) and you take it down to the cashier lady who also sells the drinks (canned soda, bottled soda, horchata and aqua fresca). They only take zelle or venmo. Then there's a table after that that you can stand around and eat at. All while people are driving by on the streets. It's definitely a vibe. I ordered 4 tacos. A chorizo, cabeza, al pastor and carne asada. With all the toppings and sauces. They provide you with so much meat on them. The taco could barely hold it all in. Flavors were authentic and amazing. With the splash of lime on it. It tasted so good. And then I got a Mexican coke with it. And it definitely hit the spot. Each taco tasted different with the type of meat used It's good, authentic food at a percentage of what most brick and mortar stores charge. And the amount of food they give you is so worth it!! If I ever see an Angels tacos while driving around, I will definitely be stopping by again!!!!

A couple of friends decided to come to this taco stand for a taco run. Since this was all our first time here, it was great to see the al pastor just rotating slowly on a spit and seeing tortillas freshly hand pressed and cooked over the flat top. We got in line and noticed they have a system, so you gotta know what to order to keep the line moving. We ordered a few of the usuals: carne asada and chicken. Then we were directed to the spit for some al pastor tacos. As the guy was slicing the al pastor onto the tortilla, he even gave us a show by doing some knife movements in his hand, then slicing a piece of the pineapple from up high and catching it with the tortilla and pastor in the other hand. At the end of the line where we paid, they had some aqua frescas, sodas, and water. We even saw another flattop where the meats were prepared. Onto the food, the chicken and carne asada were alright, pretty standard. However, the al pastor blew my mind. It was so tender, moist, and delicious. A bite with the pineapple brought out the flavor of the pastor even more! Hands down, it was by far the best al pastor taco I've ever had. Definitely will be coming back to try the other meats. Parking was very easy to find since the taco stand was located outside the Target. We parked in the Target parking lot and walked a short distance to the stand. There are street parking as well, but that filled up quick.

These were the best tacos Ive had in LA! Loved the pastor, it was soo flavorful and juicy and loved the pineapple that they put on top! I would recommend eating on the spot but even when we took it home it still tasted delicious. If you want a little more crunch to your taco I recommend getting the queso taco, you wont regret it!

Food was amazing! Hands down the best tacos in LA! Street tacos like these are hard to find. A true gem. I ordered asada and cabeza tacos. The meat was of great quality. Very tender and tasty! My husband ordered a chicken quesadilla and he loved it. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and not dry. Each serving is generous and price is most definitely fair. They serve aguas frescas and we went for the strawberry with milk. It was so good and refreshing. The tortillas are freshly made to order. The servers are very busy but pleasantly patient with each customer. Parking is easy and plenty of it. I literally can't think of any reason to not come back. Even if it's an hour drive, it's worth it!

The Al pastor burrito is 5 star worthy but I was sad that they gave more salsa to other people that speak Spanish. Clearly they did this with the people a head of me. I asked for extra and it was not anything like the other people a head of me got. I don't think they even said they asked for me. I use to come a lot and stopped when someone told me people got sick from eating here one week. I tried today and I am okay so far. The place is good for Al pastor tacos or burritos.
